Disneyland with the Gambles

We met our good friends from Spokane, the Gambles, at Disneyland the first week in November. It was so much fun to see them and spend time with them. Allison and Elyce, and Emily and Kaylee were the best of friends when we lived there, and it has been fun to watch their frienships continue long distance. The girls hadn't seen each other in a year and a half, but to see them together, you would never know that they didn't spend every day together. There was a lot of giggling and running around being silly. There was also a bit of Allison and Elyce feeling like they needed some space from their annoying little sisters. We stayed at the same hotel, and the girls swapped rooms, so that everyone got to have a sleepover. They are such a great family, and so easy to vacation with. It was very sad when we had to leave (there were tears on the drive home), and we hope we can do this again.

Abby is 18 months younger than Sydney, and when Abby was a baby, Sydney used to love to play with her. In fact, "Abby" was one of Sydney's first words. It was fun to see them play together as big girls!
