The girls look forward to the tradition of decorating gingerbread houses with Grandma each year. Grandma is so patient with them, and doesn't seem to care that the frosting and candies temporarily destroy her kitchen. She praises each house for its beauty and individuality, and the girls love this special time with Grandma.
