The most wonderful time of the year

No, I am not doing a belated Christmas posting. The most wonderful time of the year is what my sisters and I lovingly refer to as "girl trip," a long weekend trip that we take together, with our mom, each year. For the past several years, we have taken advantage of the Jacobson's free accomodations and gone to Payson, Arizona to Tom's golf resort project. The agenda for the weekend is pretty simple. We stay up late talking, eat a lot, and spend an embarrassing amount of time at Wal-Mart (Payson doesn't have much to offer in the retail department). We do always spend one day in Phoenix shopping, but that is really the extent of the organized activities. It is very therapeutic to be on our own, with no kids or husbands, and no schedules. We love our families, but sometimes a little break makes us love them even more!
Diana was sorely missed this year! She had a conflict with a previously arranged trip to Hawaii, and between the two expectant mothers, and my mom's temple schedule, we couldn't find another weekend that would work. Things weren't the same without you, Diana!
