We took a quick trip to Las Vegas a couple of weekends ago, where Emily competed in the Vegas Cup. It was a fun, although quick, family getaway. Bret has been out of town so much lately that we decided ten hours in the car in one weekend would be good family together time. The drive turned out to be family time, but I don't know if I would classify it as
good family time. On the way there, we were pretty sure that our kids were going to kill each other, or that we would just leave them on the side of the road. We wised up on the drive home, and handed out candy every hour on the hour to any child who was not causing trouble. They were blissfully pleasant, and all for the price of a few Starbursts!

Emily, Ashley & Morgan all did very well at this meet. I think they are all getting the hang of competing! Emily scored in the 9's on everything but beam (surprise, surprise!). Bret is wondering if we need to buy some super glue to put on her feet to keep her from falling off. Great job, girls!
