I knew the day would come, but it is hard to believe that my baby is starting preschool. Caroline was so excited for this day to finally come, and was even more thrilled to have both parents take her to school. Bret was in town (imagine that!) and he was able to go in to the office a little late. Caroline couldn't believe her good fortune, and kept telling me all day, "My daddy took me to school!" What am I, chopped liver?

Caroline found her friends, Chelsea and Ashlynn very quickly
. . .and by the time Ms. Pat showed her where the play food was, she no longer had any time for me!

Major milestones at your house this year, first year of preschool,all day in first grade, middle school, and only 1 Emily in the class! Love the back to school pictures and how lucky for Caroline to have Dad home!
Caroline, you are so lucky both your parents got to take you to school! I can't wait to take you in a few weeks!
